BuildYourCNC at Houston Mini Maker Faire 2014We had the pleasure of attending the Houston Mini Maker Faire this past November 1st, 2014. The show was overall a hit and we enjoyed being a part of it and showcasing a few of our machines.
We wanted to make sure that our booth made a big impression, so we decided to design a large sign that we cut out on our greenBull machine. The sign featured logos from both our websites, BuildYourCNC and Newbiehack. Many people were very impressed with the sign and several people stopped to take photos of it.
We were able to run some demos on the blackToe, where we had our Newbiehack logo being cut out so people could see the machine in action. It was exciting to see so many people either curious to know more about CNC, or talk to us about what they already knew about CNC and how our machines stacked up to some of the bigger, more expensive alternatives.
Patrick showed up as well and was excited to talk about some of creations to the public again.
Overall it was a very rewarding experience and we can't wait to do it again.
