how do I hook up encoder alarm on Pokeys57 board

Are you referring to an alarm output from a closed-loop driver? If so, you can use any of the pokeys57cnc inputs (i.e. axis limit input) that will serve as a way to stop the machine when the driver has exhausted all attempts to achieve the commanded position. Additional Information: Ok thank you, what about pin 7 on the motor connector? it says errorin do you know if that can be used for this?
