Machine Learning - Unsupervised Learning - Clustering

Clustering is where data points have some relation to each other. In a 2 dimensional example, if the data set were points on the 2 dimensional graph and the points were plotted and shown to have some positional relationship where they were close together in one part of the graph and there is another set of points close together at another location, that may be a pattern worth considering and the goal would be to determine a function that could separate these groupings of points.
