On Paper: Understanding Batteries, their Voltages and How They can be Used.
Share
Batteries come in various sizes and voltages. There are also rechargeable batteries, NiMH (Nickle Metal Hydride), Li-ion (lithium-ion battery), etc. that have the same size but carry a different voltage. The size of the batter can give a clue to the length of use, but not the voltage. If batteries are connected in series, the voltage will add up. For instance, if three 1.5v batteries are connected end to end, you will have approximately 4.5 volts.
