PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) What is the Period?

The period is the period of time between the pulses. The pulse generally happens at one end of the period, bit in phase corrected PWM, the pulse is at the midpoint of the period. The period is generally a time frame that stays constant during the entire PWM sequence. The smaller the period, the higher resolution of the PWM. The period is generally referred to as the frequency.
