Introduction:

Use this SHIELDED 3 conductor 22 AWG stranded cable for signal level connection. This cable will be protected from interference

Description:

This is a cable that you can use to connect signal terminal from one device to another. I typically use this cable to connect the step and direction signals from CNC controllers to stepper motor drivers. There is a bare wire that is connected to the shield which is used to connect to the signal ground to remove the interference.

I came across a rather interesting idea while checking out Disney's Research Hub: Printed Optics. They seem to be quite interested in fabrication and 3D printing as a good majority of their videos pertain to this type of subject matter. More interestingly, they have devised a way to print objects that embed optical characteristics so that light traverses where they intend to create some very interesting effects.

Two recent developments are getting us very close to printing electronics, one using inkjet printers to print conductive material for electronics and photonics and another, a conductive ink to create flexible electronics for books, displays and wearables.
Step 36 - Software Toolchain Part 3 - The toolchain concept
At this point, you should have the control software that is described in Software Part 1 and Software Part 2. Software part 1 shows the process to install Mach3 and Software Part 2 shows the process to install a Linux control software application called EMC2. If you're still unsure what I'm talking about, then here is my detailed explanation of the entire workflow. Later posts will go into greater detail and tutorial on each program.
