WHEN DO GRAPES GROW?
It usually takes about three years before you get a viable crop from young grapevines. We planted grapevines at a house we built in California and the first crop that actually had enough grapes that we could actually pick and eat them was three years later. We ate them as we left town on our way to the East coast and our new home. They were growing strong when we passed by the old house some 10 years later. A few varieties of grapes produce in two years, such as Brianna and Seyval grapes. The good news is that grape vines usually live between 50 to 70 years, depending on the variety.

What side of the x and y axis do you mount the stepper motor to? If it does not matter what side, do I have to change something in mach3?
It is usually best to mount the motor in a way so it is spinning clockwise to avoid confusion. Additional Information: ok, but lets say the motors turn clockwise. if you mount it to ether side of the y axis it will pull to that side so what are the correct positions of the stepper motors. is it the left side or the right side of the y axis and also is it the front or back of the x axis? Additional Information: cw250 with mach3 controller

WHAT ARE THE BLACKTOOTH LENS SIZES AND FOCAL LENGTH SPECIFICATIONS?
The lens is 20mm wide and a 50.6mm focal length (the one included). This lens will stand up to at least 30PSI air assist. The mirrors are 25mm wide mirrors. Focal length is the distance from the lens to the material for the laser converge into the best focal point. If a lens is listed as 2". You measure 2" from the lens to the material, this will be the tightest point the laser can go before it starts to re-expand again losing focus.

My cnc router stops at gcode line 50,000 and cannot finish program
There should not be a limit to how many lines of g-code that Mach3 will run as long as you have the Mach3 license. Many g-code instructions can contain a very high number of lines since 3D carving operations require so many small changes.

I purchased your single relay and need to know what wire go s to the signal in
Hi. The relay that we sell here: https://www.buildyourcnc.com/item/electronicsAndMotors-breakout-Relays-relay-board-250V-12A-5V Has the same relay as the parallel breakout board: https://www.buildyourcnc.com/item/electronicsAndMotors-parallel-breakout-relay And contains three terminals: "S", "P" and "P". The "P" is always connected and will be the connection between the "S" or the "O" depending on if you need the connection to be Normally Closed (NC) or Normally Open (NO). - Use the "O" if you need the connection from "P" and "O" to be Normally Open, meaning that the circuit will close (be connected) if the relay engages. - Use the "S" if you need the connection from "P" and "S" to be Normally Closed, meaning that the circuit will open (be disconnected) if the relay engages.

Do you have a wiring diagram for your breakout board and the SuperPID?
It is not necessary for a wiring diagram for the breakout board to the SuperPID controller since you are only going to connect two wires from the breakout board output terminals of your choosing to the SuperPID controller. The only thing remaining is to configure Mach3 so that the spindle control section serves as the SuperPID controller. To setup this configuration in Mach3, go to your ports and pins dialog box (config menu -> ports and pins). Click on the spindle setup tab. In the Motor Control Section of the dialog, check the box for Use Spindle Motor Output and check the box for PWM control. Change the PWM Base Frequency to 50Hz.

can your vacuum pump controller card work with a 1-1/2 HP single phase 200v motor?
The relay on the Vacuum Pump Controller can handle up to 250V and 12A. If your vacuum pump falls below those values, then the vacuum pump controller will work. Link to the vacuum pump controller: https://www.buildyourcnc.com/item/electronicsAndMotors-pneumatic-hydraulic-vacuum-pump-controller-sensor-redfrog-v1

can you make us a vacuum pump motor controller board with 15a-20a load capacity? yours will only go to 12 amps....
I will look for a relay that has a minimum of 15A and and another for 20A. Alternatively, you can add an external SSR with that load requirement. All you would need to do is connect the SSR ( solid-state relay) to the relay on the board. Additional Information: I did find an identical package and coil voltage replacement that can handle a 16A 250V. If you need to go higher than that, you will need an external SSR.

Building the 2'x4' CNC from the Woodsmith plans and want to use a router with 1/2" collet. Will your stepper motor kit with 2 NEMA-23 and 1 NEMA-34 be sufficient for a Bosch 1617 router motor, or will it be too heavy?
You will be fine with using 2 NEMA 23/24 (425 oz-in) and 1 NEMA 34 (651 oz-in) motors with the Woodsmith CNC build with a large heavy router with a 1/2" collet. Specifically, the Woodsmith CNC build uses lead screws for each axis and this will provide mechanical advantage allowing the motors along with the drive mechanics (lead screws) an increase in torque.

Can i add a 4th axis in future to you 3 axis system kit?
yes, you can add a 4th axis to the 3 axis system in the future. The entire selection of CNC electronics sold here are modular in nature.
-
Are the 3 axis electronics combos with the Mach 3 USB breakout board compatible with Mach 4?
These boards are compatible with Mach3 only at this time. We will be adding a Mach4 board in the near future.
-
Also on the 3 axis combo, the last item on the tutorials page points to wiring instructions and links to videos. The (I assume) written instructions do not load and the videos seem to be unavailable
There are written instructions located at each component (product) page. On the page for your interface board, you will see a datasheet that shows the wiring diagram from that board to the drivers, limit switches and computer. On the page for the stepping motor that you have, there is a datasheet that shows the wiring scheme from the motor to the driver and also has the amp rating for configuring the driver. Additional Information: Additional Information: Additional Information:

I purchased 3 Axis Heavy Gantry Electronics /w Pokeys57CNC controller (Mach3 and 4 Compatible) and Cable Pack I plan to use Mach 3 do You have a wiring diagram Thanks
I have very detailed wiring videos for the Pokeys57CNC controller on the pokeys57CNC controller webpage: https://buildyourcnc.com/item/electronicsAndMotors-electronic-component-breakout-Mach4-mach3-USB-ethernet-Board

Can I connect a manual pulse generator to either of the interface boards?
Yes, you can connect various MPGs or pendants to your computer, or directly to the controller. Both the Mach3 USB controller and the Pokeys57CNC controller have a connector for a standard pendant or MPG. You can also connect MPGs or pendants that connect to the USB.

Is there a software control package that will work with Axis Electronics Combo (For Heavy Gantry) for apple os.
Yes, with caveats. This kit includes a controller that will not be compatible, but if you use another type of controller that has web based control, you can use these electronics. Here is a list of web based control for CNC: - Easel: The web-based software from Inventables can be accessed through Safari or other macOS-compatible web browsers. - bCNC: A Python-based GRBL CNC command sender, although you may need to jump through some hoops to get it to run on macOS. - Universal Gcode Sender: A Java-based software that should run on macOS if you have the Java Runtime Environment installed. - CNCjs: Another web-based interface that you can run on macOS using Node.js.
