Questions & Answers

Have a Question?

Ask a Question
  • CO2 laser tube problem, power lose

How old is the laser tube and how do you have the laser tube connected? Additional Information: 6 months yes Additional Information: No

  • I lose power of the laser tube and the LCD panel displays trigger limits

How many hours have you used the laser tube? Can you describe the connections to the laser controller?

  • I am having issues with the laser firing. Seems like there is an arc in the end of the tube where the elctrode is but i am not sure if i am doing something wrong.

Has the tube functioned properly prior to this issue?

  • how wide is the laser beam?

A laser beam that exits from the CO2 tube is about the diameter of a standard pencil. The beam passes through a lens that allows this wider beam to converge to a point at the focal length determined by the shape of the lens. The farther above or below the focal point, the wider the beam will get.

  • I was looking for a MYJG80W power supply but I see you may not have the 220 volt version. Do you have these as yet and if not what can you advise on availability or where I may find one...Thanks

Thanks for your interest in the 80 Watt Laser Tube Power Supply. We will start offering the 220 Volt version of these power supplies on September 23rd. Additional Information:

  • HOW TO KNOW IF THE POWER SUPPLY OF THE LASER TUBE IS DAMAGED

This video will illustrate how to test for laser power: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fvzxGzyAz0

  • HOW CAN WE IDENTIFY THE INPUT VOLTAGE OF LASER POWER SUPPLY

The laser power supply will have a marking on the main coil as to the input voltage. The main coil is the large block inside of the power supply that connects to the high tension line.

  • Any warrantee of the tube and hardware?

We have a 30 day warranty. The tube must be cooled prior to and during lasing. If not, the warranty is void. Also note that tubes have a finite lifespan and is a part of a machine that will need to be replaced periodically. The higher power you use, the shorter life of the tube.
