The PTS-1 is a high-performance probing interface designed to automate the Initial Height Sensing (IHS) process in CNC plasma systems. By accurately detecting the moment of contact between the torch and the metal plate, it ensures a perfect pierce height for every cut—protecting your consumables and preventing "torch crashes" caused by warped or uneven material.
Advanced Sensing & Performance
Universal Probing Logic: Features a high-speed optoisolated input compatible with 5V to 24VDC signals or open-collector outputs. This makes it a versatile solution for systems using inductive sensors, ohmic caps, or floating head switches.
Dual-Mode Relay Outputs: Equipped with heavy-duty electromechanical relays providing both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) positions. This flexibility allows it to integrate seamlessly with any breakout board or motion controller configuration.
Full Electrical Isolation: To ensure industrial-grade reliability, the signal and power connections are completely isolated from the probing input. This prevents high-frequency plasma noise from back-feeding into your control electronics.
