CNC help by chat, whether you bought your gear from us or somewhere else. One token covers one issue on one machine, and we'll work through it with you in the chat on our site until it's sorted out.
What a token covers
- Mach3 and Mach4 setup, including plugins, ports and pins, motor tuning, homing and limits
- Motion controller and breakout board configuration
- Wiring checks for stepper drivers, limit switches, E-stops and spindles
- Figuring out why an axis, input or output isn't doing what it should
How it works
- Buy a token.
- Open the chat bubble on buildyourcnc.com and tell us you bought a token, with your name or order number. If you're already chatting with us, just reply in that conversation.
- Send your controller or board model, your software and version, and photos or screenshots of your wiring and settings right in the chat.
- We'll go back and forth in the chat until the issue is resolved. We usually reply within 1 to 2 business days, and you can leave a message and come back later.
Good to know
- All support is by chat. Messages are text and photos only.
- One token covers one issue on one machine. A new, unrelated problem needs a new token.
- Each issue stays open for 30 days from our first reply.
- Not sure we can help with your setup? Ask us before you buy.
- If we review your setup and can't support your hardware, or the problem turns out to be a defective part we sold you that's still under warranty, we'll refund the token.
- Bought the part from us? Setup help for products you bought from BuildYourCNC is included with your order. Just send us your order number.
