Perfect for standard 4'x8' sheets, the greenBull 4X Heavy Duty CNC machine is great for all you machining needs. Don't let the wooden structure fool you. The greenBull can tackle almost every job you throw at it with precision and accuracy. Great for wood, acrylic and even light aluminum. Table or Torsion Box Not Included Big Business Production. Small Business Cost. The greenBull Heavy Duty CNC is a fully equipped CNC machine that will allow you to mill full length 4' x 8' sheets. Whether you're looking to automate the process for general woodworking applications, cabinetry, sign-making, construction, or milling other material like acrylic or light aluminum, the greenBull has the power to significantly reduce your production time. All machines in the greenBull series came with the option to equip a 40W CO2 laser tube on the gantry so you can cut and burn on the same machine. Technical Stuff
  • Actual table dimension for the 4'x8' are 55.25"x123" (this will create a 1 inch overhang on both sides).
  • The overall design has increased rigidity for the new routing/milling area but still maintains the aesthetics that are common across all of the machines on this site.
  • To guarantee that the gantry doesn't flex at all, a series of ribs were added within the gantry box making the entire gantry very similar to a torsion box.
  • The motors selected for all of the axes are NEMA 34 with 1/2" shafts (driven by 6.0 amp drivers).
  • The dust shoe is redesigned to provide better dust extraction capability.
Important Things to Know:
  • The 4X used a standard amount of 50 feet of motor cable, which assumes the computer is placed right next to the machine.
  • The Spindle will require 12/3, 14/3, or 16/3 gauge cable for wiring from the inverter to the wall. You will also need 4 conductor wire for wiring the Spindle to the inverter as a 4th wire for ground is needed. It is important to understand the electrical requirements for wiring the Spindle, so for this reason we strongly recommend you check with a licensed electrician before attempting to wire it.

  • What is the Z-axis travel?

    The z-axis travel is 9 inches with the short Z-axis option capability which will largely be determined by how the table is made and if there is a depression built into the table.

  • Is it possible to add a 4th axis? Can on-site demo le he scheduled?

    Yes, a 4th axis can be installed on this machine. However, you will need to make the 4th axis at a different level than what the table surface is so you can maximize the reach of the machine and the size of the workpiece you affix to the 4th axis. One way to install a 4th axis would be to create a depressed portion of the table (like a trench) for the head stock and tail stock of the 4th axis. This depressed section should be large enough to provide for the typical workpiece clearance to rotate, and for the end mill on the spindle (router bit on the router) can reach the desired depth into the workpiece.

  • What are shipping costs and duties to ship greenBull 4'x8'to Toronto, Canada?

    At the time of this writing (11/18/2021), the freight transport is between $600-$946 not including insurance. Insurance is around $100. The import duties are 5% for tax and Ontario has an HST of 13%.
