Title
This is the component that contains the CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) that is excited by the voltage coming from the 80W Power Supply. The diameter of the tube is 80mm (approximately 3.15 inches). The length of the tube is 1250mm (approximately 49.2 inches) This CO2 Laser Tube has an inlet and outlet for water cooling and wire connections for the anode and cathode sides of the tube. This the 80W laser tube that comes standard with our Vertical Laser XL machine kit. The 80W tube has a much larger diameter than the 40W tube, so for this reason it is not currently possible to add it to the blackTooth laser cutter and engraver. Each tube is tested for quality before it is sent out, with a voltage test performed and a read-out of performance at different wattages. It is important to note that while you may achieve higher performance at higher wattage, it can also shorten the life of the tube. Laser tubes are consumable products much like light bulbs are. They have a rated life span. The 80W tube's lifespan is rated at 3000 hours.

  • Do you have a larger kit for the Blacktooth Laser? I need a laser with at least 80watts of power.

We have one in the works. It is a 4'x8' machine that will house the 80w laser tube on the gantry. The machine is bout 2 months out as of 1/7/2014. Additional Information: Additional Information: Additional Information:

  • I was wanting a 80w laser can that be an option when ordering?

We are offering this very soon! Additional Information: I am in the market to purchase a laser machine in the next 4 - 8 weeks. will there be an option by then. It is a deciding factor for me.

  • I was in the process of aligning mirrors for our vertical XL and suddenly the laser does not fire anymore, there is an arcing sound and a light near the Anode (positive) connector of the tube on the very inside. Do you think the laser tube would go bad so quickly? how could we avoid this?

Can you check if there are cracks in the inner glass tube? Also, check to see if there is water between the inner glass tube and the outer glass tube. That will give you an indication of cracking in the inner glass tube.

  • I ordered an 80w tune on Amazon for a good deal, it took over a month to arrive and was broken on arrival. Get what you pay for I guess :( of I order a tune from you can I expect it to be better packed and arrive quicker?

We double box our tubes. The inside box contains the tube that is surrounded by foam. This inner box is wrapped with bubble wrap and then boxed again. Carriers are not very careful with packages, but it is not typically from personnel handling, but the machines and conveyors that maneuver the boxes at their distribution centers.

  • I need to buy a bottle laser 80w but the page does not i calculates the delivery to San Juan PR via UPS. I need to know immediately in order to be able to make the purchase immediately.

I believe the country of Puerto Rico may need to be US instead. I will change the cart's country field tonight so that it reflects the correct value. Additional Information: I see that you used US and may have worked for the US postal department but I also noticed there is an exception for UPS. I will do further research and fix this issue for PR customers! Many thanks for your patience and persistence. Additional Information: I just completed some fixes to the cart that corrects the Puerto Rico address for USP and USPS. It appears that USPS and USP require differences in the way the country is designated. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and please let us know if you are experiencing any further issues.

  • Hi, I am very interested in this CNC Router unit [4'x8'], but from South Africa with our exchange rat [1$ =13,4 ZAR presently, make these kits out of reach. The plans part has been discontinued, but in our situation, would you reconsider and supply full plans and instructions at a cost? please let me know.

We are toying with the idea of re-introducing plans for some of our machines. Please give us a call to discuss further.

  • Hi there, I have a cnc table that I built but I am looking for a higher powered router because I am using the table for flattening slabs with a large straight bit. Would you have any recommendations for the type of router I should buy? Also do you sell large bits for flattening slabs?

I would highly recommend a spindle and VFD rather than a router. Spindles: - Have a far longer life longer than a router. You will probably go through a few routers before the end of the spindle's life. - Are quieter than routers - And the water cooled spindles we stock do not blow the chips into the air. Chips are much easier to capture with or without a dust removal system. You can find our spindles here: https://www.buildyourcnc.com/SpindlesAndAccessories.aspx Once you get your first spindle, you will never go back to routers. Routers are great for handrouting work, but not the best for continuous CNC milling.

  • Do you recomend distilled water or coolant for your 80W laser tube with the CW-3000?

We use purified water, but adding some coolant can be a benefit. The addition of coolant can keep the water in a state that maintains no growth of foreign organism like algae and the such. Additionally, If you are in a colder climate, antifreeze will work well. Additional Information:

  • What could be wrong when the CO2 laser tube fires a beam inside but it doesn't go out of the tube?

How did you test the laser tube? One of the two mirrors or the laser tube end may be damaged.

  • hello do you have any dead co2 laser tubes 80 watts or bigger

We don't store dead laser tubes.
