CAN I GET DXF FILES FOR THE UPDATED PARTS OF MY MACHINE?

All parts are shipped from the Tampa Florida area. The time it would take parts to ship to Ontario can vary depending on the size of the parcel and the time it takes customs to clear the shipment. Sometimes it is very quick and other times it can take a very long time, unfortunately. To calculate RPM use this formula, in which you will have to find RPM's when you have Hz.
1 RPM = 0.01666666667 Hz
Formula: 0.01666666667 × RPM = Hz
On our VFD if you select the >> button about 3-4 times, it will change from Hz, A, or ROTT.
When the LED's are lit on Power, FOR, and ROTT, you should be able to see the RPM the spindle is running at, our maximum setting for these spindles is 400Hz / 24000 RPM.

How to I get the VFD to display rotation speed in RPM?

In the tracking for that package, it says it was "Delivered, Garage or Other Location at Address". The package was probably too large to insert it in the mail box. If it was delivered on your porch or garage as stated in the tracking, then a person may have walked away with it. Are you able to install a newer version of Mach3? If you are worried that your configuration will be lost, you can save the configuration by copying all of the XML files from the Mach folder. The XML files contain all of the settings that you applied in Mach3. Just in case the XML files are not compatible with the new version, make sure not to erase the current Mach3 that you have on the machine.

Open the input signals dialog box by clicking on config, then ports and pins, then input signals. For each line item that you use (i.e. x++, y--, etc) make sure the port number is 3.

Also, make sure there is a 24v power supply connected to the DCM and 24V terminals. One side of the NO on the limit switch must connect to the DCM, or the power supply V- terminal.

Sounds like it is stalling as the z is trying to move up. I would first try putting 3-in-1 oil on the screw and run the z up and down a lot as fast as possible so you can confirm the z is capable again. It could also be the shaft or the lead screw slipping in the coupling. Finally, check the wiring where there may be zip ties or other places where the wires are fastened and look for chafing. This can cause intermittent shorts in the wires.

The output current for the Mach3 USB Interface Board is 50mA. These outputs are generally not designed to handle heavy loads like Spindle Governor Relays (SGRs).

If your SGR requires a hefty current. Attempting to directly switch it using just the Mach3 USB Interface Board would not be a good idea. In that case, using your existing C36 rev1.1 board as an intermediary is the way to go. That board can handle higher currents and will act as a buffer, ensuring that the Mach3 USB Interface Board doesn't get overwhelmed.

If your motors are hot to the touch, this is normal. Current is being drawn by the motor coils as the motor moves and as the motor stays at a position. If the motor is not using the current in the coils to move (holding it's position), the energy will be translated as heat (rather than motion, sound or light). Even while moving, some of the energy will be lost as heat. Remember that energy cannot be created nor destroyed.

My Nema 34 Step motors get fairly hot to the touch. Is that normal?
