  • Do you offer or can recommend a place where I can buy the Drive Pulley for NEMA 43 Stepper Motor (1586 oz-in 3/4" single shaft) 5.5 Amps?

We don't offer those drive pullies with a 3/4" bore at the moment. We can supply them if you are willing to wait. If so, what is the pulley pitch, how many teeth and the width of the belt.

    Additional Information:
Meant to say pulleys, not pullies.

  • DO NEED TO SQUARE UP THE MACHINE AND IF SO YOU HAVE INSTRUCTIONS OR VIDEO FOR THIS?

The eyebolts are used in the squaring of the machine. I would use a standard carpenters square and first run the end mill along the edge of the square to first make it parallel with the long axis. Then run the end mill along the other edge with the short axis and adjust the eye bolts and chain according to the angle that the machine is out of square.

  • Attaching the aluminum rails to the table. Do you use a 1/4" or 5/16" drill bit?

I like to use a 3/8" drill bit to create the holes on a table to mount the rails to give the rails a bit of wiggle room to adjust the alignment of the rail.

  • I bought a 2.2 Kw spindle and YL620 A-2 from you and am getting an ER 4 message. How do I fix it?

If the VFD is presenting an ER 4 error, the VFD is most likely damaged. The VFD will either need to be serviced or you will need to purchase another VFD. The latter is probably the less expensive option, unfortunately.

  • HOW LONG WOULD IT TAKE FOR MY TO BUILD A MACHINE?

The length of time it will take to build a CNC machine kit is not an easy answer. There may be a wide array of circumstances that limit a persons abilities to build the cnc machine kit in an efficient timeframe; however, if you have moderate dexterity and moderately mechanically inclined, you should have no problem building one of our machines within one weekend if the project has very little downtime.

  • Do you sell 22 to 24 AWG stranded and shielded for wiring of the limit switches and E_Stop?

The wire that we sell for the limit switch wiring is here: https://www.buildyourcnc.com/item/3d-printer-component-cnc-electronicsandmotors-cable-wire-3-conductor-22-awg-wrcon-cablewire3conductor22awg

This is shielded cable to make sure there isn't any external interference with sensitive components and long wires associated with limit switches. This is necessary due to the interference caused by the motors on a CNC router and the milling process.

    Additional Information:
So unshielded is cool. That's what I was curious about. Cheers.

    Additional Information:
Absolutely. It's really the only type of cable I would recommend for connecting limit switches.
