Dealing with our inverters, they are built with a bit of margin on the input power. For our 220V VFD the margin is from 170-250V 50/60Hz, so running our VFD in your location will not be an issue! Our electronics will not have a issue running at 230V as well.

I want to build a similar CNC to the Blacktoe 2'x6' design that Matt Gottscualk built. Is it possible to also outfit a small knife tip/setup for very precise cuts in vinyl/plastic?

With our machines the ipm capable is very dependent on the bit/end mill (the more flutes you have the faster the material will be cut) you are using as well if it is with a router or a spindle, as well as the density of the material. If those items are taken into effect reaching 400 ipm would not be a problem with the greenLean/other machines equipped with our 2.2 kW spindle, and a decent end mill.

I was wondering if it is at possible to get a autocadd drawing of the pieces that need to be built for your cnc hardware kit

To have a complete kit, these will be the following items that are most common to add to the order:
Motor Cable (20 AWG 4 conductor) = 30Ft (X-axis 9Ft, Y-axis 10Ft, Z-axis 11Ft)
Spindle/Inverter 2.2kW either 110V or 220V
Silicone tubing 1/4" ID - 3/8" OD (desired length or 24' to have your water cooling container right next to the machine)
Water pump either 110V or 220V
Cable carrier (cable management), default length: 5Ft.

I'm intending to order a black toe machine for shipping to New Zealand. Postage will be a very significant part of the cost. What components do people buy in follow up ordets that may make sense to add to my order?

The shipping is typically 2 to 3 business days from the order as we provide a free configuration and testing on video for the VFD and spindle pair. After the test is complete, the VFD and spindle is shipped.

Increasing the size on your Z-axis is possible by making the over z axis longer (rails, wood structure). Remember the location of your router/spindle and over all integrity of the z-axis structure.
Now another way of getting a longer reach is making a adjustable height table, so that you can raise or lower the material section(2' x 4') to add taller material or get a deeper cut.
