And contains three terminals: "S", "P" and "P". The "P" is always connected and will be the connection between the "S" or the "O" depending on if you need the connection to be Normally Closed (NC) or Normally Open (NO).

- Use the "O" if you need the connection from "P" and "O" to be Normally Open, meaning that the circuit will close (be connected) if the relay engages.

- Use the "S" if you need the connection from "P" and "S" to be Normally Closed, meaning that the circuit will open (be disconnected) if the relay engages.

There is no need to connect a stepper motor to a relay. The stepper motor driver controls the stepper motor completely.

We are working on a keypad that will connect to the USB interface. It is possible to create a quick keypad using perf-board and some push buttons. All you need to do is connect one side of the switch to the pin of the axis and direction and the other side of the push button to the 5v pin. The datasheet shows the pinout of the jog connector.

Additional Information:
I had found the pins to wire in a job connector. My question is, what sort of connector do I look for (on Amazon for example) that will work for each 2 pin pair? I suspect they are the same as the connector for power and reset on my computer's motherboard, but I have no idea what to look for (what to buy).

I need to find a connector(s) to wire a pushbutton array to the USB board I purchased. Do you sell such a connector. Can you tell me what to look for?/What such a connector is called?

You can try the software as a demo however you will have limited g-code lines you can run. I believe it was around 500, so you can create small items with the demo.
To fully unlock the Planet-CNC software you will need to purchase the license.

Yes, a 5v relay board can be connected to a spindle. Relays generally have terminals labeled S, O and P and you will want to pass one of your main wires "through" the P and S terminals or the P and O terminals depending if you want normally closed or normally open function.

Refer to Step #8 on this page to get the full instructions on how to use a relay to control the spindle or router.

I have the USB board. I was thinking of wiring a 5v relay board to the breakout board labeled (spindle) using the GND and (arrow) which i think is 5vdc. I will need this relay board to operate my router. Thanks

Yes, those terminals are to control the relay (engage the relay). On the switch part of the relay, the router main poser wire (say, the live, black, wire) would pass through this switch portion of the relay.

The USB port on the Parallel Interface board is necessary to supply 5V power. Connect with a USB cable to a USB source.

I purchased a parallel port breakout board. I have checked all the info and found nothing on the usb port. What is it used for?

Since this 4th axis already comes with a stepper motor, you will need a driver and some cable to connect to the driver from where the 4th axis will be placed. If you have extra space in the redFly electronics enclosure, you can fasten the driver there. You will also need some wire to connect the driver to the breakout baord.

The greenBull 4X comes with all of the components and electronics to assemble the gantry of the machine. You will need to build the table. We provide the rails and roller chain for the X-axis (along the length of the table for full 8 feet of travel). You will need to provide some wire to connect the electronics and a computer to run the machine. You will also need to purchase the software that you will need to run the machine that matches how you will apply the machine. We suggest the mach3 control program. The CAM program is up to you as there are many options out there.

The relay is only used for devices like routers, spindles, coolant, mist, etc. The relay works like an automatic switch and will allow current to pass when the relay is engaged.

The relay doesn't have a A+ B - it has signal in god. 5v. / 0 S P. This has to go to my USB motion card wiring shows v+ goes to top of coil no number and comes out the bottom to #2 the relay I got from you is not that simple
