I bought and downloaded about 2 years ago, recently my PC that I use for my CNC crashed and now have to reinstall Mach3 but the license download has since expired. What I need to do to activate the software?

[575] I had limit switches working and on input 2. Now looking at Mach 3 diagnostics, Input 2 is continuously on and triggers limit stop. I removed all input 2 so the machine can run. Rebooted all. Anyway to reset Input on card?

The RNRMotion driver will not conflict with the mach3 license. Make sure you have the RNRmotion driver in the plugins folder and the provided xml in the main mach3 folder. Also, make sure to have the mach3 license file in the mach3 folder. If you still experience problems, please give us a call.

i purchased a breakout board from you guy and the rnr motion control is messing with my license in mach 3 tech support at mach said it is the rnr software i need help to contact them and let them see what they can do to help

After you purchase the license, we provide you with the license file. That file needs to be manually copies to your mach3 folder. The mach3 folder is usually on the C: drive (C:\Mach).

Copy the file that was emailed and copy it to the c:\Mach3 folder.

Go to the about menu option in Mach3 and confirm that your name is on that dialog box.

If you already have a Mach3 license, you don't need to purchase another one. The license is connected to you rather than the computer. Mach4 is licensed to the computer, but you are able to have multiple computers for each license, and can be switched from one computer to another.

I will have to buy a new license for the Mach 3 so will need to get the interface board I have to talk to MAch 3. Can I get just the disc or is there a place I can download what I need?

Hey ! I have purchased a VFD with matching spindle 1.5kW and control program UCCNC. And my interface card is DB25, the question is how do I connect the VFD to DB25 so that I can control the speed with UCCNC? Sincerely "cnc beginners"

As shown in the instructions the laser tube that was used was a different model which had the metal end, compared to our full glass tube models we currently ship with the machines.
So there is no difference besides appearance between the two tubes.
The focus lens should be placed in the laser nozzle assembly and not on the laser tube itself.

I bought a blacktooth laser from you about a year ago.. I am finally getting around to installing the laser tube and I noticed that my tube does't have the metal end on it like all the pictures I've seen. is this a focus lense and can I purchase one?

CamBam specifically creates the g-code (machining operations) instructions to be loaded into Mach3. Make sure in your CamBam g-code file parameters, you are using the Mach3 post processor. If you have already done this, let me know. If you are not sure how to do this, let me know.

The license file should be called Mach1Lic.Dat, you can copy it to a Mach3 folder on another computer and it will register the program.

You sent my my activation code which I have jealously, guarded on my Desktop till needed, now, unfortunately I cant get it to copy from Desktop to the computer and Mach3, is it possible to get advice on this or maybe a replacement that can be put on a stick then plugged into my Mach3 computer. I believe I've corrected the issue. I found that their are 2 spring like tabs on the female USB port. And take a sharp point like on a compass and gentle raise those tabs a bit. This tighten up the connection, and I never received an error from losing connection.

Go to the control panel -> Search for "Turn Windows features on or off" -> Make sure the checkbox on the line ".NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0)" is checked (or filled in).

If your Z axis is moving in the opposite direction, go into Mach3, click on config, ports & pins, then click on the motor outputs tab. You will see the axes labeled on the left and the parameters labeled on the top of this dialog box. Toggle the dir low active for the z-axis.

My Z-axis seems to be reversed on a fully assembled machine... I've tried reversing it in the config settings on Mach 3, but to no avail. What do I need to do? IS this a wiring issue that was not done correctly at the factory?

You purchased this VFD and spindle combo in April. Have you been using the VFD until now and it just failed? Or is this the first time you are trying to use the VFD? This will allow me to determine if this is a configuration problem or an electrical issue.

According to the manual, P09 is the parameter needed to unlock the VFD if a value has been entered into P08, the password parameter. If the password value is entered into P08, you will need to enter the same password into P09 to see the value in P08 and access the other parameters.

SOLUTION: If you do not remember the password that was entered into P08, then you can enter the value of 55555 into the P09 parameter and P08 will show the password. Take that value presented in P08 and you will be able to enter it into the P09 parameter and the VFD will be unlocked.

This customer tried the above instruction and he was able to unlock his VFD.

I am trying to program my 220 volt VFD and it has locked me out. It keeps flashing and the only parameter I can change is P009. I also keep getting a Er 3 code which means input voltage out of parameters but the input voltage is correct. How can I get back to being able to adjust the parameters?

I need a resource, we bought 2 redfly systems and mach 4, We put one motor on for the x axis but cannot get it move. Can you direct us to some tutorial?

Yes, if you are using 1/2" standard allthread lead screw coupled to your stepping motors, you can increase the speed by changing the lead screw to 10 TPI 5 Start Lead Screws with antibacklash nuts. This will allow you to have up to 200-300 IPM (inches per minute) travel and cutting speeds.

The reason why the feedrate and jogging speed is faster is because the lead screw will travel a farther distance for each turn of the motor. A standard allthread will only travel one inch after 13 turns of the motor. The above (link below) 5 start 1/2" lead screws will travel one inch with only 2 turns of the motor! That is a drastic difference and you will get more torque from your motor since most of the torque is present at low speeds.

When the machine hits the limits it stops but the switch is still tripped so clicking the Mach3 RESET button doesn't do anything. How am I supposed to get the machine to move off of the limit switch so I can continue working?
