I ordered the blacktooth laser cutter, there were only 4 red spade terminals, but the instructions pictures show that there should be more and would include blue spade terminals

From our records, you ordered Mach3. We purchase the license from the software developer and then we email you the license file that will be copied into your Mach3 installation.

Make sure to install Mach3 while you wait for the license file to be emailed to you.

I ordered two NEMA 23 steppers with 1/4" shafts, I received motors with 8mm shafts. I also ordered two 1/4" x 1/2" couplers, which I have not received. I have no problems with the motors, but I will need couplers to match the 8mm shaft to 1/2" lead screw.

Did this spindle come with a 110V 1.5kW VFD?

Do you have any info on the settings? I would rather buy a pre-configured VFD from you if you don't have the settings for my HT since I have already fried one spindle because of lack of documentation from the manufacturer. If you can setup a VFD that works with the spindle you sent at 110v input voltage I would be fine with the extra expense.

I ordered a 1.5KW 110 volt spindle. I just received the box and the spindle clearly says on the foam packaging and the side of the spindle that it is 220V. I think you shipped me the wrong spindle

To have a complete kit, these will be the following items that are most common to add to the order:
Motor Cable (20 AWG 4 conductor) = 30Ft (X-axis 9Ft, Y-axis 10Ft, Z-axis 11Ft)
Spindle/Inverter 2.2kW either 110V or 220V
Silicone tubing 1/4" ID - 3/8" OD (desired length or 24' to have your water cooling container right next to the machine)
Water pump either 110V or 220V
Cable carrier (cable management), default length: 5Ft.

Yes, the blackTooth actually has a base that is open, so you can set the blackTooth laser cutter on a surface that is depressed as much as you need so you can accommodate a work piece with very large heights.

For all of our kits, it is highly recommended that the instructions are completed read. This will determine if the customer has the ability to take on a project of this complexity.

Depending on the specific blackTooth option purchased, the kits include the following (if the parts is listed in the instructions, it is included in the kit unless otherwise specified within the price option):

- Structural components: Plexiglas panels and MDO structural parts that form the overall machine.
- All of the hardware necessary to assembly the structural components and to fasten the electronics and laser components.
- The electronic components to move and power the machine including power supplies, motors, drivers, interface and computer components if that option was purchased.
- Laser components including laser tube, mirrors, lens, nozzle, air pump and mounts.
- Mechanical components including drive pulleys, bearings, rails, and timing belts.

If your blackTooth laser is not cutting through the material, there could be a few issues you are experiencing.

1. The lens must be at the correct distance from the surface being cut. Use the tutorial to get the best focal length: https://www.buildyourcnc.com/tutorials/tutorial-laser-blacktooth-determine_focal_length

2. The water running through the tube may not be cool enough to keep the laser tube at he optimal efficiency and performance.

My blacktooth laser, moving at 5mm/sec on full power just make a firm scorch mark, but won't cut through even thin wood. Is this a focus or alignment problem?

The shipping is typically 2 to 3 business days from the order as we provide a free configuration and testing on video for the VFD and spindle pair. After the test is complete, the VFD and spindle is shipped.
